Is Todhills or Gretna the best place to stop for charging on M6 Southbound?

I’ve had good results using the CPS chargers at Kyleakin on Skye beside the bridge. I’ve used them as a staging post after Tesla Fort William to top up en- route to Applecross. That leaves me with around 150 miles worth of power in Applecross- more than enough to return to Fort William or back to Kyleakin if I use the car battery via the power station for cooking etc.

I'm spending the week in Sleat, so no intention of going near the bridge. (The thought of getting to Mallaig and the ferry is off is a bit scary given how far the journey round via the bridge is.) I will need at least one charge on Skye, maybe two, just to run the car as a hostel room for the week. There's a charger at An Crùbh which is convenient but although CPS assured me it was working it keeps coming up on ZapMap as out of service. I'm not sure the one at Broadford is very reliable either and if push comes to shove I may need to go to Kyleakin or even cross the bridge back to Kyle just to get a charge!

The only time I tried the Kyle charger I couldn’t get anything from it. I’ve used one or other of the two in Kyleakin four times now with no problems.
Directly opposite over the road is Saucy Mary’s or something like that - excellent for food, coffee, breakfast etc. very helpful staff.
Walk on towards the old ferry pier and Castle Moil restaurant and King Haakon Bar are also very good, I enjoyed the Cullen Skink fish soup there.

If you head up North at any point, there's a rapid in Dunvegan and 3 in Portree, there's also I think an ultra rapid in the hotel? on the left just as you come into Portree, never used it so I'm not sure what it is.

last time I passed the Broadford one had no power.

There were 5 in the main Portree carpark when we were there a couple of months ago. The Broadford charger had no power and was looking very sorry for itself.

That’s better in Portree then but a bit sad in Broadford with all its passing traffic.
