iSmart not communicating when charging finished

I've seen the reports of not being able to turn on cabin heating while charger is plugged in but not charging, but I've just done my first charge that automatically finished when complete and couldn't get any communication with the car. The granny charger was flashing the finished charging lights, but car scan and charge management functions failed. I wonder if this is the actual cause of the heating bug?

I used the key remote to unlock the car and the lights came on the charging port, then locked it again and all ismart functions started working again (I'll try the heating before I go out in a bit).

I have had that once before, Within the first week or two have having the car, not had it since.

ok, even once ismart started working the heating still wouldn't activate with charger plugged/powered. MG software department needs better testers
