I track my odometer and battery status in Home Assistant. Pretty easy to see if/when it's been used.

No, however it provides evidence of when (car's sensor records when it is running) and how far it was driven (odometer tracking). And you can set up an alert with Home Assistant to tell you when the car is running.

It has a specific sensor for this. e.g. here's the sensor history yesterday morning for our car, with the mouse pointer hovering over one of the running periods to show the details for that period.

And the odometer readings taken every so often when the car is running (or the API is polled):
