Loss of power on HS PHEV automatic on a hill puzzle

Driving the MG HS PHEV hybrid up a hill it seemed to lose power and didn’t respond. the adaptive cruise yellow light was on. Pulled over not sure what it was and it worked OK on restart. I wonder is there a setting that could have caused this?

If light is yellow then in standby would be in green if you where cruise and car would have drive correctl. Also centre display would have a car in it in green white if in standby.
