Low Back Pain with New MG5

Oh. So it's not a problem with the seat...?

That's very disappointing. I absolutely love the car (not the little wheels or the frumpy styling) but the seat is a real problem. Why on earth did they have to make it so sharp?

I find the driver seat in my 5 exclusive very uncomfortable both the seat base and backrest. Also the foot rest I find way too high and it hurts my ankle. This is the main reason I have not pre ordered the new facelift version. I love the car other than the seat and foot rest, very poor in my opinion.

Took me 6 months to realise I could adjust the lumbar support on my exclusive ?

I always have my wallet in my back pocket. It was never a problem with my old car, a 2018 polo. A friend suggested that it was the cause of the back ache in hte new MG... and he was right!

Now stowed in the centre console while I drive and no more back ache...

If it's any help, I've used the Backfriend from MEDesign Ltd - Manufacturers of the Backfriend - Home Page in several cars over the years and swear by it!
