the pic isn't clear but the raised part is about 1 inch forward of the seat, in the floor pan.

I was wondering if it is just a bump in the interior soundproofing/insulation that would give a little when pushed firmly or a note from a covid locked down factory worker asking for help?

There is definitely something under there, it doesn't give, I will try and sqiddge it to see if it moves. I'm not feeding it come what may....

If it does move maybe you can push it to the sill , remove the trim and take it out. You must let us know what it is.

Did you find out what this was? I have a 72 plate MG4 SR with a similar lump. Behind the driver's seat on the rear passenger footwell. It's under the carpet and a square about the size of a tennis ball. It's solid. I don't think it was there when I first got the car in September 23.

Its possibly the sunroof they hid when they couldn't be bothered fitting to my ZS ev.

There should be be a lump on both sides of the car lift the carpet remove the lumps place feet through the holes and of you go it's to save on charging we all remember the Flintstones don't we ? Yabba dabba doo
