Marvel R phone wireless charging

I find it quite annoying the position and the size of the wireless phone charging slot. It is pretty much unusable with any phone if you have a protective case on it. I have tried it with the Pixel 7 Pro, with the Galaxy S21+ and with an iPhone 12. The slot is simply too small, but it works OK with the case off.
I tried removing the rubber insert and the phone charges but it will rattle around and it will get scratched in the hard plastic.
I wonder if you can get a different rubber insert there that will allow you to wirelessly charge a phone with the case on...

I understand what you mean, I have exactly the same issue. Therefore I have designed a simple 3D model of an insert that exactly fits my phone (Google Pixel 6) with case. I'm currently finetuning the model. It's very simple, but the measurements are very precise.Once it's done, I will share it with you.

As promised, here are some pictures of the prototype.

My phone would not fit in the default slot, but as you can see it does in my custom slot and charges wirelessly. My phone's dimensions including case are as follows: 16.51 (height) x 6.35 (width) x 1.27 (depth) cm (Google Pixel 6 with Spigen Ultra Hybrid Clear Case).

I have the final version ready to print (mainly adjustment in height). I will upload the model this week for you to download.

That is quite cool, very nice. I don't have access to a 3d printer to try, unfortunately.
