Gently de-ice it with a hair dryer or with a hot water bottle.I have this problem today morning.....its minus 4 degree ...my mg4 ev charging door does not close...the warning sign on the dashboard keeps ringing
Let it be and heat and dry the lock parts with a hairdryer (or park it in an under ground carport for a bit), when you can. Then apply a some silicone spray/grease in to the lock (do not spray on the paint) and on the charge door rubber. Should fix it for a bit.I have this problem today morning.....its minus 4 degree ...my mg4 ev charging door does not close...the warning sign on the dashboard keeps ringing
Or from Amazon if you want it before winter's over ?Considering all the snow that collects in the charging port/locking mechanism of the charging port door, I think the time has come to buy a rain/snow cover with a magnetic attachment from Ali Express.
