Hi

Good Day

I would like to ask for your help regarding binding my MG4 to the I smarp app. I just received my car today . However I could not see the bind my car tab on the settings screen or anywhere else on the infotainment screen. I have called the dealer and they said I could conncet via the website? or it woupd take 48 hours to be active. I have tried re starting my infotainment , car and re download the I smart app with no success . Anyone has the same issue before or can help me out? Thanks
 
Thank you for the reply , Yes I ve watched the videos . The problem is that on the infotainment app in my car does not show the bind my car function or qr code .
 
I too am having issues with binding (my car is 2nd hand, so previous owner issues). Been to the dealership this morning for service (amongst other things) They told me to contact MG customer service (details when I collect the car tomorrow)

Back to you little issue. I used to be in technical support (amongst other things). I have to say, the installation of this software is not the easiest (small comfort I know).

I'm assuming you are sitting in the car for this. The infotainment screen should show you a "connect to vehicle" it's quite a small button. From there it should prompt the QR code to scan. Failing that, when I get the customer support number, I'll post it up.

Hi , Thank you for your respone. Yes Ive tried that too and still not binding to my App 😔. I have called the dealer in Leeds, they said to try online and wait 48 hours. However, I don't know which website they are saying 🫣

Is this from where I go to user settings?
 
Slight problem, my car is in the dealership, and I'm not picking it up until Friday, if you can wait that long, I'll get back to you.
