MG 4 long range battery

Check that the intelligent battery heater is switched off. That will drain the capacity of the battery .
It is slightly hidden in the charging menu ,then press the cog thingy to access the scheduled charging screen and its on there. ( depending on what software version you are on ).
ESPs on fire today , too many sugars in my coffee. ;)

We tried that earlier, get more sugar 😉

Do you drive with your Aircon/ heating switched on?

The car doesn't have a heat pump, so HVAC system uses a lot of energy. You said that in warm weather you get a decent range so I wouldn't worry about it.

You could try using seat heaters rather than AC, but that will cause problems when it comes to condensation.
I drive with heating on , don't have heated seats . It is long range , no trophy

Another possibility is if you drive in lots of short trips rather than one long one, that can shorten the range especially in the cold. The car has to get the interior up to temperature from cold multiple times rather than just once (and possibly the battery). I frequently get 2.something m/kWh on short trips to the shops, 3.something for motorway trips in the winter, but in summer 4.something for short trips, so that 200m range is still suspicious, unless driving like on a rally course.
