Interesting... I sat in a Cyberster in the showroom last week, and found the seat didn't go back far enough (I am 6' 3" or 1.91 metres).
Are you saying if you push the seat base button backwards for more than 10 seconds, the seat goes further back?
Why on earth would they design it like that!?!?!?!
Possibly because there is luggage space behind the seat and if you use it (like we do) you could crush whatever is behind the seat.

Here is something they should adjust in their next update. The auto wiper function. Especially after rain. When you get in the car seated, and the door is open, the wiper first swipe after rain will wipe all the water into the car.
Just don’t put your foot on the brake until the doors are closed.

Perhaps a dumb question: has anyone found a proper use for the right hand screen?
On the left you can have Android/Apple, navigation, music...
On the right ehhh nothing useful...
On the right I monitor the performance per KWh (miles/KWh) and also use for reversing cameras. Also useful when you are going less than 5 mph and you yoke indicators as the left or right screens show the cameras on the respective side - great for parking to check lines, or if you are at a junction and you have high wall or hedges so you can see partly down the road for oncoming traffic.

nope. the auto wiper function will start so long it senses the weight on the driver seat.
That’s interesting, as that hasn’t happened to me until I power on the car which happens when I put my. Foot on the brake. I have been out in pretty bad rain and the wipers didn’t come on.

Having said that all the SW in the car was updated on Monday, so who knows what will happen now!

The car can't drive with door opened. So no need to wipe windscreen when door is open. They should just program this, and delay rain detection and/or wipe function until door is fully closed. At least for the driver side (LHD).

What version of software did you update to?

Hi, I've had my cargo lid open by itself when I pressed P to park the car. Has this happened to anyone else? not hapening all times

Someone already found a way (shortcut) to disable the speed warning sound?

With the roof down this not a problem, but now with this weather is really annoying.

Since I had the car updated yet again since last time (too many bugs with last update) I have now had it in the garage for three days last week with more updates coming from MG, I noticed I now have infotainment R34, which they said wasn’t available in the UK but is now magically on my car. I have noticed an extra option on the lower screen under MG Pilot where you can store all the settings on that page with a long press and use when you get in the car with a tap. Unfortunately you have to accept an agreement every time (by pressing OK) so not really sure how much time it saves.

Am I doing something wrong? I adjust the seat and press M and then 1, in the main screen it says: saved (or something like that).
But it the seat is adjusted afterwards, and I press 1, nothing happens...
I've also tried 2, but the same result (well no result)
Also make sure you are in parking or it won't work

Cargo-Net Modification
Hi, I'm just a "Newbie" but thought I'd share a small mod I have done to my car. In my previous cars (particularly the BMWs where they are available as OEM accessory) I have had a "cargo net" in the boot. I did a quick search and I couldn't find anything for the Cyberster so I thought I'd have a go myself. I used a net that I had in my BMW M240i and then in my Taycan 4s. In both these cars there are metal D rings to attach "tie downs" or a net.

However there isn't anything specific in the Cyberster. The rear of the boot is no problem as there are the metal brackets for the small net pockets, but nothing really to attach to on the front bulkhead. I didn't want to drill any holes or attach with a permanent adhesive, so I came up with a solution for the "anchors" using "velcro" like hook and loop fasteners and a keyring, that attach to the floor panel that covers the tyre repair kit.

The anchors
The fastener is a "hook and loop" cable tidy with a 20mm split ring. The loop in the fastener is secured with some contact adhesive (pictured before I cleaned off the excess)

It is attached to floor panel using the hook side and wrapped around the edge: The fasteners are practically the same colour as the carpet fabric so don't stand out is the photos (which also means that you can't really see them in the car!)

Installed !

(ignore the red ribbon this is for someone who is vertically challenged to reach the first aid kit)

Hope this helps someone else! If you have any queries post them and I'll try to answer.
