Interestingly I had issues with DAB from day 1 with my Tesla and my wife's BYD is a bit iffy too.
To be fair I am not bothered since I love my Spotify podcasts and kids their own music

Decided to contacted MG customer support about the shortfalls being highlighted (maybe if more ask the question we may hear if they recognise there are problems……) [email protected]

As the title states, I was intending to buy an IM6 but very concerned about the defects/faults being highlighted by current owners:

a. Apparently there are no OTA updates atm.
b. Auto headlights do not work
c. Auto dim of the displays does not work
d. Phone cooling does not work
e. DAB radio is very poor (seems to use FM far more than normal
f. Auto lane change not working
g. Seat massage only works for about 2 sec
h. Key supplied is dreadful. Too large and cannot be attached to a key ring.

This list is not exhaustive but is significant enough to make other cars more attractive.

Are there any plans to fix these faults?

£40 seems like a good price, they're double that on MG Titan, I say go for it (in January of course).

To be honest I don’t think you need one, the space behind the rear seats is so small you probably wouldn’t even notice it. Also, if you recline the rear seats would a parcel shelf be in the way ?

I really don’t know, to be honest the space behind the seats for the parcel shelf is quite small and I doubt if it would be of any practical use. If it’s noise from the rear of the car that worries you ( as I was when I first got the car - I was concerned about it sounding like a van), I can assure you it’s really quiet. If you want the shelf to put things on I doubt you will get much on it given the space.
If you do decide to get one let us know how you get on with it ( and the benefits) I’ll then have another look myself !
I just want to change the car logos from chrome to black but everywhere I look are sold out !!

I will have a think about it.
To be fair it doesn't look robust enough to place things on top of it.
I was mostly thinking of keeping anything in the boot out of sight.
Glad to hear that the car is silent without one.

For logos check AliExpress. I have a set on order already. Cheaper than MGtitan too where they are sold out indeed.
