There are 2 batteries on the ZS 12V and HV, which one are you referring too?

Only speaking on a personal basis, I have not heard of anybody having or needing a new HV traction battery on their ZS EV.
Why do think you need one can I ask ????.

High voltage (HV) EV battery packs are made up of many small rechargeable batteries or cells much like those that you might use in a flashlight, that combine to provide the required output.
Each cell In the pack can be checked individually. In the event that some cells require replacement this can be done or the complete pack replaced.
HV packs are a large proportion of the cost of the car these days and a full replacement is very costly (£15k+ is not uncommon).
The good news is packs are under warranty - MG gives 7 Years with a service level capacity of 70% - many others give 8 years cover on the HV pack. 🙂

There has been one case on here when the car from new had some bad cells and MG under warranty
Edit found it

Well, it's a little too early to tell actually because they are so new. But Bjørn Nyland tested a two-year-old MG ZS EV which had no degradation, but that was most likely because of the buffer, though not bad at all. Then it was MG themself who tested a battery that had been in one of their hybrids for serval years and they seemed genially surprised at how well it had performed. It was a smaller battery but the same technology. "The University proved that the battery, eight years and 575,000 kilometres after it left the factory, still offers 85% of its original capacity. " The article: The power behind MG's battery technology , but in general a ion battery should last for 1000 cycles, and the new LFP should last for 2500 cycles. But hey, here in Norway Nissan Leaf first generation still drives around after 12 years with an okay range, so probably longer than we initially thought.

This is what MG says them self: Electric Car Battery Life | Electric Life

Also check out James and Kate channel, good explanation of a couple of well used MG5 and how they are holding up, in short very well.
