MG ZS EV charging slower than before

Hi There

My MG ZS Essence EV 2021 charging got slower than before itself. I am sure it is car related nothing to do with charger as I have tried different places. Any idea please ?

I’m sure those who can help will need some further information Nisar. Like where in the country/world are you , ambient temperature, state of charge when charging, change rates achieved etc.

Is it standard range or long range?
When did you last balance the cells?

It is 2021 and range originally was 270 KM but now it only gives 250 KM
Actually we are charging very often at home but not with the original trickle charger 2.4 KW (10 AMP) supplied but bought another one bit faster use 3.5 KW, 16 AMPs. Looks like new faster charging cable is not balancing the batteries. I am not sure if I could use original trickle charger 2.4 KW (10 AMP) with 16 AMP socket ?

Any AC EVSE will balance the cells regardless of the current it can supply.

20KM difference in range is not unusual as the car takes into account your previous drives.
