MG ZS EV Shipping Updates

I ordered my MG ZS EV end of July and was told could get it by end of October, called in October and was told before end of Year. I requested that they update me every month, give them that they had a white to offer me but i ordered a black and was told no delivery dates. Called today to enquire and was told when I eventually do get my ZS my finance will not be the same as i signed for and that it has not increased, got the current quote now be paying an extra £31 every month. Any one else being told this by MG that are still waiting for their orders?

Same here I did have order MG ZS back in June with APR 5,9% I have updated teh order to MG5 and collected the car today with APR 7.9%.
 
Ordered Trophy LR in blue beginning of May last year, just been told delivery will be 11Feb. Feeling lucky given that's less than a year delivery, just got to decide whether to wait 3 weeks for the new reg on 1st March. Wonder whether it's certain colours that are delayed longer.
 
Just had a message from my dealer. MG has told him that even existing orders will be another 6-12 months if at all. Mine was ordered in May against the dealers 2021 order.
Looks like the last straw for me.

Never sure when you can believe a dealer quoting MG. I ordered in May and have confirmation of delivery next month !
 
MG don’t do delivery after 1month. Might be 1year or longer. My mg ZS ev they keep saying it’s here nearly 6weeks now still no delivery date. Never again

Thank-you yes been a complete nightmare I will just run that now and see what happens in the next 12 months

Heard from our dealer this week and they're able to see that both vehicles we ordered are at sea and due to them by mid February depending on transporter availability.

They've been really helpful and are going to get them registered on the 23 plate for us so we'll pick them up when March comes along.

Will have been about 13 months from ordering, although it was supposed to have been a 5/6 month lead time.

Looking forward to swapping the ageing i3 for something a lot more practical. I am interested in the MG4 performance when it launches so mine might be swapped again later in the year depending on pricing and trade-in offers.

I ordered my Trophy long range in black at the end of Nov 2022 through the Octopus EV scheme. It was advertised as a 'Speedy delivery' option with an expected delivery date of May to July 2023.

Since I've ordered I've checked my delivery tracker and it's actually improved and now showing April to June 2023 delivery, which I was pleased about until I looked at this thread!

One thing I've noticed is that the MG ZS EV has now been removed completely from the list of available cars on the Octopus EV website. I'm not sure if this is good or bad...I'm leaning towards good in that they might be focusing on fulfilling existing orders before taking on any more?!

Has anyone here had a successful delivery from Octopus EV and what was timescale from order?

I ordered LR SE black Mid April 22. Just been pushed back again to Jun-Aug...

It seems strange that they're quoting dates and on my tracker (supposedly) improving on the original dates while others are still waiting and getting put back.

I wonder how much is to do with the individual dealers/demands in certain locations?

Out of interest, what was the original date quoted and what did/does your Octopus tracker show now?

Also, did you order a standardised generic spec or did you just choose specific options when ordering? I had the option to customise but the lead in times were much longer.

Sorry for all the questions but I kind of want to be armed with info if they phone up saying the original dates were just a lie!
 
Ordered my LR Trophy Connect in silver through Tusker salary sacrifice scheme in the middle of July. Was told 40 weeks lead time (that would take it to early April 2023).
For months status of the order on the Tusker website was "awaiting build slot" with an expected delivery to the dealer "early January 2023".

That has changed now to "released from factory" and estimated delivery to dealer "late February 2023".

That actually sounds encouraging. Not getting too excited though... We shall see what happens.

This will be likely "no sunroof" version.

I ordered 19th April with original delivery of the 7th or 9th of September. Been pushed back 3 times since. Order was just stock Long Range SE in black, so nothing special. The tracker now just started Jun - Aug. If it said speedier delivery, it sounds like a cancelled order so you may have gotten lucky!
