Ok cool, I was expecting TBA to turn into awaiting build date & then awaiting shipping etc. Good to know that they can suddenly just turn up after TBA.That's what the guy said. And I asked if my car is specifically allocated to me as in can the supplying dealer pick and choose who gets what and he said its not possible, it all has match the order number. Different for cancelled orders though. I'm sure others have been told the same, TBA then your car is in the country.
I'm not sure what's going on, I have been told by supplying dealer that I have to wait on build slot etc but yeah there have been more that have just turned up. So fingers crossed.Ok cool, I was expecting TBA to turn into awaiting build date & then awaiting shipping etc. Good to know that they can suddenly just turn up after TBA.
I think most people’s orders are TBA at the moment. Every order on my dealers books is TBA. I don’t thinks this means these orders are imminent and just indicates MG have no idea when they’re going to supply it or aren’t updating the system accurately. For some people it has just been a lucky coincidence that MG had sent the car to fulfil the order. It’s not surprising, I don’t think the system they have for UK orders is set up to deal with volume. My dealer didn’t offer for me to cancel when mine changed to TBA, he just said it’s sit and wait, but there is no guesstimate of when yours is arriving.Hi All. I ordered a MG ZS LR trophy in blue back in mid January.
Originally told delivery would be may. Rang early may, told it would now be September, rang yesterday and told there was now showing TBA and would most likely be next year and asked if I wanted to cancel.
Reading these forums it sounds like TBA could mean delivery could in fact be soon and wondering if the dealer just wanted me to cancel so they could sell the car to someone else at a higher margin.

I think you are spot on with that, I believe dealers would love it if you cancel. They can sell it for a premium right now.Hi All. I ordered a MG ZS LR trophy in blue back in mid January.

Am in exact same position as you. Same car, ordered Jan, my dealer sent email couple of weeks back to say now TBA and would understand if I wanted to cancel.Hi All. I ordered a MG ZS LR trophy in blue back in mid January.

Isn't there an issue with this. In December the eligibility also changed from £35 to £32k so the ZS LR Trophy at £34k was no longer eligible. I keep thinking my logic must be skewed but if they hadn't made the application already surely there's no way they could have done so for this model after 15th December...when I challenged him about the drop of £1000 in December he said that they would have stood to that
Hello, sorry do you mean Hendy Exeter? I have an order with them.Had a call from Henley Exeter. They said we should have our car by the end of this month! Not giving us a pick up date until they actually have the car. Ordered Dec, White Trophy Ev Lr. Exciting, hopefully cars are starting to arrive.. fingers crossed!
I was just thinking of asking the same question! So thanks for that. Will be interesting to see if anyone has received one on leaseHas anyone on here recieved a lease vehicle from one of the many online lease companies? I spoke to an MG dealership the other day who was adamant that I would not likely see my vehicle as MG wouldn't likely supply the lease companies throughout this supply issue? Something to do with fleet vehicles and losing money??
It would be good to know people opinion and if any other lease companies have been supplied with vehicles at all?
Ordered my on the 17th December and was told the government had just stopped the grant, no warning what so ever, so I missed out on that by 2 days, I know how lucky am I?…still got the £1.5k from the dealership, I think it was..Isn't there an issue with this. I could be wrong but I thought TBA was ‘To Be Advised’It sounds like To Be Arranged means a batch of cars have be built and shipped and left to someone to allocate to order numbers when they arrive at the dock. With the production chaos, SAIC may have just thrown their arms up in the air and said, "just get them out of the factory and sold".
That's good. I ordered in mid January from them. Matt was my salesman.Yes. Hendy!
