This just applies to EV and not ICE cars. I just dont understand the reasoning for this and in my opinion is downright rubbish. That would then mean that the order in which the cars are booked mean absolutely nothing as someone who has booked after you can get theirs assigned before. This, I am told can’t be changed by the dealers.
All of the outstanding cars atleast on Chorley’s list is expected in June. This is either going to be a boatload of cars or a boatload of bullish!t that I have come to expect from MG.

According to Miles@chorley on a recent pod cast, a lot of the cars are already built, and parked on a disused airfield in china waiting for chips
 
Ordered a Red ZS LR Trophy Connect on the 10th of Jan 22 from Croxdale MG, Dyrham. Was told March delivery. Then got a phone call saying July. When I contacted them back was told to phone them mid April when they'll be getting an update. What a merry go round!

Long story but basically; ordered a SR in Dec '21, got a 2 month delivery which rapidly went to 'maybe September, if you're lucky' so we also ordered one of every other model (ZS LR, 5 & Marvel) with the agreement we'd accept the first of the four to arrive - this was the first (to be honest, I think it was a cancelled order somewhere else in France as they had to have it shipped up specifically), we accepted it so overall, we had a 4-ish month wait which is pretty good I'd say, considering the current delivery times.

Can I ask that this thread just be used for order updates. There are plenty of other threads for discussing / ranting / tracking ships etc.

If you have placed an order and it's not in the sheet (or I haven't updated this sheet from the other threads), just pop a message in the thread with the following information:

  • Model
  • Colour
  • Order Date
  • Dealer and location (e.g. Baylis MG, Gloucester)
  • The date you collected your car (if you're one of the lucky ones!!)

If you're on the spreadsheet and you've collected your car, then just reply with the collection date.

Note: The stats only account for the MG ZS EV UK Models, but the orders will still show on the left. let me know if I've made any mistakes. I'm hoping that the spreadsheet will automatically be the latest version in this post.

Trophy LR in dynamic red ordered on 3rd November order switched from zs exclusive which had been ordered in August from Richmond Guildford
 
Just ordered my car on 31/3 before the April price update.

ZS EV SR Trophy connect in white, expected in June from MG Rawlinson In Bury St Edmunds.

Seeing the amount of LR bought here I’m wondering if I’m going to be living with constant battery anxiety?

Don't get anxious about your range. I had a 28kWh Ioniq before I got the Kona 64kWh. You quickly learn where the reliable chargers are in the areas where you drive and on routes you drive regularly. I changed to the bigger battery only because I started doing more unexpected journeys (I'm a volunteer at a local hedgehog rescue and drive all over Somerset collecting injured and ill hedgehogs).
 
Ordered a Trophy LR in white from Glynn Hopkin Chelmsford on 7 November 2021. No expected delivery date no updates
