There is an app which links to your car which has the user manual.
It also allows for monitoring and remote control of various features such as lock/unlock, climate control, and heated seats if your car has them.

I sent out another post about ACC… do you know if the car has a front radar or just uses the camera for cruise control?

I'm guessing it must have a radar mounted behind the front grille.
That's how all ACC systems work, whilst a camera behind the windscreen would work the lane keep assist.
Having had semi autonomous functionality on my other car a Genesis Electrified G80 for getting on for two years, I find myself using the feature wherever possible as it takes a lot of the effort out of driving. Whilst the Genesis has what would be described as level 2.5 autonomy, so it includes auto lane change, and various self learning and navigation related features, which means on a motorway for example it has the ability to auto adjust according to posted speed limits as well as adjusting its position in a lane according to traffic around d the car, the system in the MG is more basic but still meets level 2, so this means it will still offer self steer and auto speed adjustment including stop/start in traffic. In fact the MG will self steer around sharper bends than my other car.
So as I said at the beginning of my 'long paragraph' I find I use the system in the MG as much as possible.
However I would mention the MG system is quite prone to 'phantom braking' thinking sometimes that you're going to drive into a car parked by the road.

I have a Subaru Forester that has no radar, it uses stereo (2) cameras for the acc and works perfectly. I’m not sure there’s a car with ACC with a single camera though.

I will take a close look at the grille of an MG3 and see if I can see a radar panel.

I haven't had any "phantom braking" so I'm thinking you may be able to tweak the sensitivity.

Pleased to report that the car survived being run into by a van with a tow hook. We were parked and inside the car, when a van reversed into the space behind and its tow hook hit the back bumper. We felt the impact and heard a noise as the bumper flexed.

I was expecting to find a tow hook sized hole, but instead, after a lot of checking, all it did was leave a tiny dent in the black plastic. Thankfully, it missed the paintwork by millimetres. The dent is so minimal it can be felt rather than seen, so I can live with that.

The van driver was very apologetic and lucky the MG3 is a solid little car.

Even though it features a zs, the following might be useful to anyone if they ever have an issue with keyless entry.

I cannot get the app to do anything, even though it bound with the car. According to the dealer, the MG3 is awaiting an app update, MG iSmart's connectivity is presently designed with the EVs in mind.

I linked mine up last week with no issue. I can lock/unlock and turn on the aircon.
I downloaded the app, registered and went into bind in the infotainment settings. I think your dealer is bluffing.

Agreed, I linked my car at the beginning of May...

Mines all linked up for last two months, locks/unlocks car and turns AC on etc fine.

I got into the car yesterday afternoon and it would not go into gear, the engine started but no matter what I did it was frozen in park, I tried for about 5 minutes.

I gave up and rang the dealer. I got the one with a brain and he said does it say ready on the screen, err no, he said to press the stop/start button and then press it again, and it worked then, but it seems sometimes it takes a while to be READY, not too keen on that at all, what's it waiting for?
