The ecological bonus in France which is being taken away from the MG4 because it does not meet certain conditions , MG has responded by dropping the price of the 51 kWh version to a shade under 23000 euros. This is according to Turbo.fr and Bing.

a lot of EV's are being discounted anywhere from £7k to £10k. So the price advantage of MG4 is dropping. If they can afford to sell for 23000 euros in France then I would expect good offers to become the norm here.

It was an headline banner on microsofts home page , not many details apart from some links. A lot of EVs are now discounted before the new cars enter the market and the volatility of different countries approach to bonus schemes. Good for new buyers, but early adopters will see a massive drop in secondhand values of their cars.
