MG4 ESP or EPS related warning message

Hi,

I have a very quick EPS or EPS related warning message came on the driver display today. After a warning sound, the message came on for less than a second, I couldn't read it properly.

Has anyone came across this before?

Is the message in your MG app? Warning messages are usually stored there, if you have it set up to alert you. The little speech bubble type icon at the top right takes you to the messages screen. There may be more detail on there

Thanks. I don't have a warning light on the dash, yet.
The warning message only came up on the driver display briefly this morning when I was driving. Will keep an eye on it.

I have the low tyre pressure come on at 2.4 bar, How does one reset the warning light?

For me, after pumped up the tire, the warning is gone itself.

What does it say on your screen? Or too quick to read?

I've had this too and have just put it down to the "pre-flight" checks the car does, similar to the warning lights etc that come on for a few seconds at startup. Never had it come up for more than a second or two or after setting off so far ?

It is just too quick to read but it says something about EPS failure.

I've come to the conclusion that a message that is too quick to read isn't meant to be read.

I have had this a few times, including today.

I am working on the same basis, if it is rare and only pops up for a fleeting second and there's no noticeable difference in the way that the car drivers; then it most likely is a glitch I can ignore.

I think if this kept coming on and was regular, I would want to have it checked out. Chances are though it would be one of those things where the garage can't reproduce it.

I had a message pop up this morning in red, accompanied by a beep. I thought I saw the word 'crash' in it but it disappeared too quickly to read fully. I was on a completely straight road, braking gently for a roundabout. I have no idea what it was panicking about.

Had this one come up today as well, fleetingly in red. Nothing in the app.

If I use my imagination, the steering might be a little loose. I suppose I could check if the power steering fluid is at the right level.
