Mg4 interior heating

Hi how’s everyone finding the heater in the MG4 SE SR my wife is not impressed with hers at all, set at max 32 degree and barely any real heat coming out no what you do or what the fan speed is on or even in Auto.

Heating is fine in mine ... I have it set for 23C and Auto fan.

When remote demisting (HVAC) I have temp set to 32C. The car is noticeably toasty when I get in.

Sounds like hers might have a PTC heater fault.

Mine seems to be fine, though I mostly just use the heated seat and steering wheel rather than bothering to heat the whole cabin when it's only me in it.

Hi yeh that’s fine for the Trophy owners out there, my mistake I should have said my wife’s car is a MG SE SR I will edit but thanks for your comments anyhow.

Ours is OK too. Usually start off with 23 or 24 and fan around 3 and then reduce it to 22 after a while and it keeps pleasantly warm. If pre heating I'll usually push it up to 27ish and that has been clearing the recent frosts and making it very warm.

If it’s in eco mode that’s the reason, if not then it’s buggered
