It does put a lot of responsibility onto that sensor/switch. When the car does not "fire up " how many of us are going to see that as a first port of call ? in regards to solving the problem.Sensor was already there in respect of detecting the driver in the seat per seatbelt indication, so they've saved cost of additional Start/Stop switch by utilising an existing sensor?
