MG4 (2022-2025)
Ive been doing some research on mg4 reliability, looking at DVLA SORN rates compared against the Tesla model 3 based on cars first registered on 2022 and later.

MG4 has a SORN rate of 0.25% compared to 0.21% for Tesla. to me this confirms that the MG4 is almost as reliable as the Tesla model 3 or remains economic to keep on the road.

I have no faith in media run reliability surveys and believe this confirms the issue are prominently niggles and poor MG experiences.

what do you think

its hard to find any dependable data other than official dvla data. i assumed non-sorn means its still economic to be still driving and on the roads
Can't see any MG4s being Sorn for uneconomic reasons. They are to new, only came out in 2022.

i figure newish cars would only be SORN if written off or not economic to repair?
🙅‍♀️ not in my case. Driver may be on long holiday or working abroad for > 1 month. Might want to change month of taxation. May only drive their Cyberster in the Summer 😎

intrestingly Volkswagon golf as a whole, SORN rate is 10.7% and ford puma 4.5% (two random ICE samples) ???????????????

WTF is going on there

KIA sportage 1.4% better but still poor ratio??????
some of the most popular ICE cars in UK
