Apologies if this has already been queried here, but your help would be very much appreciated.
I have an MG4 SE Long Range MY23. Today it had its 2 year service. I was told that it will get the Lane Kill Assist recall update and a system software update. However, it all seems the same. I’m sure the software hasn’t even been touched. Did they just blag the hell out of me?

LKA software is an internal update that you won't see on the screen. If the car can now get close to a lane line without trying to wrench the wheel out of your hands, then it's been applied.

"System software" update could mean almost anything ... but it's certainly not been an update to the Infotainment; the current latest is 1100R40, and I got 1100R38 at my 2nd service last November.

Thank you for your reply. Yeah because I am sure that the R21 was the same as when I got the car in Sept 2023. I shall contact the garage. Has anybody else used MG Grantham? I used MG Loughborough for the 1st year service so thought it can’t get any worse lol
