MG4 Unexplained Smashed Rear Passenger Window

[MG4 Essence]

Went out to my car this morning - MG4 to find my rear passenger window on drivers side smashed. Impact looks like it is from the inside pushing out. Has anyone else had this happen?

That's wild! There was someone on here whose rear window blew out when they closed the boot lid I think

I had a similar thing a long while back with the rear window in a Toyota Tarrago. There was a spate of them in the area, a sudden cold wind on an otherwise warm night ... or it might have been the other way around .... but sudden temperature change was blamed anyway .....

Had this happen on my rear window twice on my Mitsubushi PHEV Outlander. Never found out why
