MG4 Urban 0-60/Range

I can't help but notice although the new MG4 is cheaper, the range for all the models is less and the 0-60 is less, I guess this is why it's cheaper.

Agree, think the new MG4 Urban is probably being mostly aimed at pottering.
Although will do long journeys if needed.
0-60 may not be as good, but it'll still feel
pretty nippy, certainly enough for most, who'll buy this car.

The urban has replaced the short range MG4 and the 54 kWh batteries have a bigger range than that model.

BHP is down so obviously not as quick.

Yes indeed, the bigger battery one has more range, but the cheapest one has around 200 mile range, which will only be 170 in winter.

It likely won't even be that ... my SE SR (51 kWh allegedly) will only do a best of 160 miles at this time of year.

Our LR MG4 consistently gets 200 miles all year round.

But then, Mrs S drives like Nigella Mansell...

Performance & range seem fine when you consider the current (and upcoming) competition; Renault 4, Frontera, C3, Panda, Polo, Epiq. The list price is a little on the high side by comparison, but no doubt there will be discounts from day one.
