I've used WD40 to get rid of stubborn tar splatters all over the door panels with no problems .I've never tried this method of de-badging but. Supposedly if you spray WD40 down the badge, let it soak for a while. It literally comes of with very little effort. And considering I always use WD40 to clean the excess glue, left on the car. In theory it could work, probably sort of melts the glue. Gonna try it on the front MG4 badge.
WD40 won't damage anything, so no harm in trying.![]()
