MG4 Xpower times vs battery

I've been lurking here as I am considering Xpower.
The battery vs performance for me is the nature of the beast. It happens in RC battery cars as well.

I look at Xpower as a budget GR Corolla. So 5.6 -ish is good enough.

You'd think so, but in reality I find myself really frustrated when it's well down on power. I guess I'm so used to having full beans at higher charge

Well there is an irony that ICE cars get quicker as the energy reserve lessens.

As I live in a hilly area, going less quick up hills may be frustrating . Although they do have corners. As long as I can pass at will.

Maybe a bit of cost cutting showing its ugly face. Charge level doesn't affect power delivery in all EVs. The only thing that seems to affect my performance model Tesla is the battery temperature. When it's hot, after supercharging, the thing takes off like a scalded cat.
I'm still very happy with the MG though, it handles our appalling roads far better than the Tesla and can still show a clean pair of heels to over 90% of vehicles on the road. For the price, it's hard to beat.
