MG5 12V outlet failure.

I have a 2022 MG5 FL, has anyone had the 12v outlet fail, I have checked the 15amp fuse and it's ok?

Do you have power at the fuse?

Thats a good question, I don,t know thats something I will have to check, its booked into the dealer on the 5th of November. I''m guessing if theres no power to the fuse that will be beyond my capabilities!

Check the little spring tab at the bottom of the 12V socket, see if it's broken or blocked?

I blew the 12V socket pumping up the tyres using the supplied pump. PITA to get to the fuses but was booked in for a service about 2 weeks after I did this so let garage take car apart to change the fuse.

Joke at the garage was “Yes they build they car around the windscreen washer bottle and fuse box “

I blew the 12V socket on my PFL by dropping a USB type A plug into it, the fuse box is indeed a right pain to get to.
