MG5 2022 SoH

Yesterday i have bought the MG5 with around 70k mileage (the other one was sold). Lets see if i can get the SoH a little up with calibration or at least keep the same the coming years.

Based on other threats it should be possible to do the calibration with a 3 phase (11 kw) wallcharger, correct (thats the normal Max speed for a AC charger in the Netherlands)?
Or should i use a granny charger for the calibration session just to be sure?

AFAIK ‘any form’ of AC charging should be fine for a BMS calibration as long as you start with a SoC < 10% and don’t interrupt until fully charged and balanced?

Maybe verify the current SoH before you start yourself, it wouldn’t be the first time dealers have quoted a wrong value..

MG say if the soh falls below 70% within 8 years they will replace? the battery. If you charge mainly on AC from now on the soh should not fall much further which is good news. You didn't mention I think which version of the car you are looking at, an SR at 86% should give you about 180 miles range in summer, dropping down to 120 on the coldest days of winter. The LR will be better by around 20 miles.
Our LR is much better than that, we are getting 200 miles currently and 260 in summer, eco mode kers 3, 11 year's of EVs
