MG5 EV Lowering springs

I don't particularly want to lower my 5 but what I would like is to find some decent aftermarket shock absorbers, especially for the rear.

Is it correct that the set is for both MK1 and MK2 MG5 EV?
Yeah i believe they use the same springs. Easy enough to check by looking at a listing for them or on Eibach's website.
Edit: Looking at my receipt it states 2020> plus it would be unlikely SAIC changed the chassis for the facelift.
Part Number is: E10-444-004-02-22 if you would like to check yourself.

What issues are you having with your current shocks? Mine seem fine, absorb bumps well enough, even with 5 people in the car.

They are bl00xed and I have no intention of paying £92 each for a pair of bare rear shocks from the MG dealer when they really aren't especially good. Mine started clonking at less than two years age but <dealer> refused warranty claim as they weren't (apparently) leaking.

Yeah that is poor. That price seems like the going rate until aftermarket parts are available. Cheapest ones on Ali Express for the Ei5 are £84.59 each.
