Possibly just normal - but do I need to worry about rust forming here? 15,000 miles on the clock, 1year old car.

I own a 2022 facelift in the same colour. No rust anywhere, I always check when washing. I have stone chips on the bonnet and front bumper, but no rust is forming.
I would get those looked at and repaired; they will only get worse and blister more.

Yes mate, get a touch up pen and a sanding stick and sand back as much of the rust that's formed inside the chip as possible, if you're not positive you got it all then put a dab of rust converter then your touch up paint. My previous MG5 had a couple of tiny stonechips there and within 4 or 5 months they had spread and creeped an inch or two either side of the chip. I treated it and then put a self adhesive rubber trim over the gap to hide the repair (it was a lease car). It'll never look pretty but get on it before the rust creeps under the windscreen (because it will). Included a pic of the trim I put on, it was cheap, hardly noticeable when fitted and stops any more chips.
