MG5 rapid charging

I am taking delivery of an MG5 52kwh Excite tomorrow. Do you still have to wait outside the car when rapid charging or have MG updated the software to allow you to sit inside?

There has not been an issue with this on the 5 just the ZS.
Just tap your card, plug in and stay or go...

To avoid problems, I would recommend you switch the car off and close any open car doors before you start a rapid charge.

Once it's charging you can get back in and switch the car back on.
