Strangest of things happened, so I charged the original battery up with a smart charger and then put it back into the car! All faults disappeared.

Either the car needs the original battery or the battery needs to be fully charged and recovered out of the car.

Anyway, car sorted. Sold and moved on from poor MG dealer services local to me.

Many have changed out the original battery, so that’s not the issue. I would suspect it has something to do with the 12V charge circuit inside the car, if that’s the case it will only be a matter of time before it comes back unfortunately, but then you know how to fix it yourself…

I bet if you put your new Bosch on the smart charger it will work also..
