MG5 Steering - a concern or not?

I actually had noticed my car has this again last night. I do wonder if its something to do with the weather?
Regardless, they're going to have another look during my next service for me 😁
I had this again yesterday in my FL5. I’ve recently pumped up tyres a bit so they are 2.2bar when cold so wondering if there is a sweet spot as tyres warm up and pressure increases and at a certain speed. Was also wet yesterday.

Very weird feeling the resistance to turn steering wheel. And then it disappeared and was completely normal.

Mines still in with the dealership, has been for two days now. Has another unrelated charging issue too though.
Got a call from them saying they've got a technical ticket with MG open, and they're thinking they'll have a proper fix other than the tyres by tomorrow. If they find out what's causing it I'll pop it here.

Little update, it took them 1.5 weeks as my car had a few things wrong they found, but even with a new computer the issue still exists. Albeit its manifested differently, which makes me believe its more of a mechanical problem with the electric power steering than the computer which handles it.
Its less noticeable on higher tyre pressures though. Running mine at 2.7 bar cold has removed the effect entirely for the premium tyres MG offer.
Seems like this just exists with no true solution. If i clock anything to remedy it I'll pop it here.

Thanks for the update.
I have just replace the tyres (all 4) on my 5 and the problem is back, albeit not too bad at the moment. The tyre fitters were not too even with the pressures so I have now put them all to the recommended pressures and all seems ok... at the moment.
I was hoping that there may be a software update to narrow the central "dead band" on the steering but that sounds like that's not the case :(

Thats also what I was hoping. Does yours happen to have a bit of play and clicks when turning the wheel when going slow?
I think it might just be a tolerance issue of the mechanisms Saic used while creating the car originally back in China

No I have not noticed any mechanical issues with the steering at all and I have checked many times. It all feels pretty tight. Moving the steering with the power off I notice the the PAS motor feels almost like it is clutched in some way to the steering itself, but without taking it all apart (and that sort of work is beyond me these days) its only speculation. It would be good to get the vehicle up on a ramp and check the steering operation out with the weight off the wheels but as mentioned that's unlikely to happen.
