Hi, I have installed the MGi App for my new MG4 EV on my IPad where it works fine.

However I want to install the app on my Android phone and it. I have down loaded the app to my phone but it won’t allow me to Register or Log in. When I enter the details to log in, it keeps giving me the error message ‘Invalid email address’.

Welcome.

Only one account exists for the car. The app can be on multiple devices but only one can be logged into, and in use at a time. Using the same email and password you should be able to log in using your Android.

Thank you, I discovered that the dealer had registered an account as well as me. He is removing that and all seems to be well/

@Roger Casemore. I've found the MG server to only return one response like you have experienced to a variety of account issues instead of a first level diagnostics of where the problem may be.

Went to the Dealers and he was unable to help. He had not registered and account! He had a look at the app on my phone but was unable to help. I can sign in to the aap which works fine. The after 10 minutes it logs me out with the message :'Account Change Your account is logged in on another device. OK'
I then have to log in using my Password to use the app again. This happens every time and is really irritating.

The account is linked to my electricity supplier

So, there is a chance the electricity supplier software is logging in and thus logging you out.

I do not have that so perhaps another forum member can add their experiences.
