MGZSEV Reduction Gearbox Oil Mist

Popped open the bonnet of my MK1 ZS EV to top up screen washer. Signs of a suspicious leakage?
Is that the gearbox breather I see?

That does look like the breather but you are seeing evidence of misting rather than an outright leak.

You're right but there is a reduction gear and a differential

That is the breather, some (like mine) are blanked off.

I think I would get the oil level checked. Either too low or too high could cause the problem.

Ok,
I did not follow up on my case since it was confirmed to be a mist and is expected.
Gearbox leak on ZS EV is not commonly reported issue, I would advise you to ring the dealer with photographic evidence.

Is it definitely oil as the AC will drip water this time of year

he did not indicate, did he change the oil in the gearbox? If they changed 1, they filled in more than the norm, 2 - oil of a different viscosity. We have summer in Israel now and the temperature is high.
