Mirrors and windows lock despite opening car

When I unlock the car, the mirrors stay in close position. I was told by the local dealer that they are aware of the issue and are awaiting a replacement chip. It’s been six months of waiting!

The dealer told me to select “don’t automatically” do mirrors. But then I have to manually adjust the mirrors - literally, by hand.

This flaw also impacts on the windows which cannot be opened.

Any ideas?

Try disconnecting the negative terminal from the 12 V battery. Leave it disconnected for a few minutes and reconnect. It worked for me.
I'm also having this problem and waiting for a replacement part, which is due on the 1st of Nov.
The dealer told me to try this and it worked.
