Mode button

Hi everyone,
I've just bought a second hand ZS (72 plate). The MODE button won't let me switch between eco, normal etc. Also the car randomly chooses whether to be in normal or eco on start up. I've already got an MG5 so am familiar with the button so am happy it's not use error. Is there something in the settings I'm missing?

As above, Welcome.

This does sound very much like a fault. It might be software related or it might be the actual switch.

After switching the car off you might try removing the 12v battery negative lead for a few minutes. This resets the cars infotainment system & can sometimes clear a software related fault. Worth a try as all the switch gear is powered by the 12v. Let us know how you get on by doing this if you will. Thanks.
