Most useful MG4 accessory?

The most useful for me are the short front seat buckle belt extenders, they allow you to drive the car without having to put your seatbelt on when manoeuvring the car up and down the drive, or in and out of the garage etc, it also allows you to put a bag of shopping on the passenger seat without the boing, boing, boing all the way home, but the main benefit is that it makes it so much easier to plug and unplug your seatbelt, without the extenders, the seat buckle is very low and quite difficult to access.
I'd forget to put it on if I didn't have the warning lol

I've got to ask... what do people do in their cars that the light in the rear is such a big deal???

I didn't even notice there wasn't one, and couldn't tell you whether my last car/s had one. The one in the front is bright enough on the rare occasion I need it.

I've even read of people suggesting the new S5 is a worthwhile upgrade on the MG4, because it has a light in the rear....😀
You cant see the compartment or really anything in the back that's low down without a light or torch, if you rarely have people in the back it's not an issue but I had 2 friends looking at my car 2 days ago and they had to turn the torch on their phone on as you couldn't see even with the front lights on.

Nice, I would worry about them falling off at speed on a motorway. I don't know about where you live but in the UK you can be charged for something falling off your car so I worry about putting anything like this on my car.

What is your favourite/most useful accessory that you have bought for for your MG4? (Mine is currently wireless Carplay) I thought this might give others ideas of things that they might have never even thought of getting before.
Mine is the custom hifi sound-system. Yes, it's expensive but if you love music and own your music in high quality aka you don't use Spotify, it's so worth it. It just puts a smile on my face every single time I get into the car.

I have thought about using the extra boot space for a sub or audio stuff, I don't think I have owned my car long enough to warrant doing anything long term though.

My most useful accessory is the screen protector for the infotainment screen, purchased after seeing recommended on here. No more finger prints on the screen to distort the view or be cleaned off.

Most definitely the modified V2L plug, a life saver if you consider the wife probably would have killed me in my nice warm eclectic blanket sleep first thing in the morning, if the MG4 hadn't powered the roof top rattler as a heater in our motorhome .....

But ... tell me more about this "wireless carplay (Android AI box)' thingy, I just plug my phone into the USB cable and the two seem to work as one .....
an inlay that added cup holders would be great, one for me, one for the wife and one for the ferocious Mexican hunting dog (Coco the chihuahua) so he can have his water cup ..... and of course, the maccas coffee needs a spot for the big people ,,, Coco isn't that keen on coffee ... and believe me, that is a good thing ..... a Mexican hunting dog on speed or a caffiene high is not a good thing

Wireless Car play is great, you can buy a small USB stick sized device that plugs into your car play USB port instead of your phone then your phone and car will automatically connect and you can instead just place your phone on the wireless charger instead of having to worry about plugging the cable in and worrying about any of that. (If your car has it)

I have bought a multipack of these for all the easily scratchable parts of the car although I may only end up using the screen protector ones.

Very understandable - it took me 4 months to justify doing it. If you are happy with the way the normal system sounds and only want some bass just buy a sub, a small dsp and maybe do some dampening to the front doors (it's really cheap to do). The right tuning/setup of your hardware is key so if you are doing something just make shure get it right or visit a professional.

Sounds like the previous owner of your car didn't do the LED interior lights upgrade. ;)

My accessories, front to back;
Fangs
Black MG badge
Gas struts for the bonnet
Frunk
MG wheel centres
MG octagonal valve caps
Security wheel nuts
Mud flaps
Silicone rubber key fob cover
Screen protectors for both infotainment and instruments
LED interior light
Luxury floor mats front and back
Rubber mats for the door pockets and bottom of the arm rest
Tray for the arm rest
LED indicator / turn lamps
LED reversing lamps
Magnetic cable / charger port cover
2kW V2L

All bought off eBay and AliExpress except the Frunk, which came direct from Frunk.at

When I look at a list like this, I must have spent quite a bit and not added anything to the market value of the car. :(
However, I've bought the car outright, no finance, and its my intention to keep it for as long as it lasts, (hopefully 10 years or more 😉 ), as I did with my previous 2 vehicles.
Only time will tell if I've done a sensible thing or not.

OH I forgot, I've got new accelerator and brake pedal covers, and colour matched door sill protector plates. :)
