What is your favourite/most useful accessory that you have bought for for your MG4? (Mine is currently wireless Carplay) I thought this might give others ideas of things that they might have never even thought of getting before.

Tray for the cubby hole in the arm rest.
The tray for keeping small stuff, coins etc.
And under the tray, your 10mm spanner 😉 cloth etc. Keeps it all tidy.

Plenty of other stuff, but probably not what you would call useful, as such.
But imo, enhances the MG4, makes it look better. 🙂👍

Ordered this today.

A light in the rear passenger area.....as there isn't one. Some have fixed lights to the headlining either by the rear doors, or on the trim panel on the C pillar.
My preferred method is to use a switchable USB light in the socket on the back of the centre console.View attachment 40901
Such a simple way to deal with the no light for the back seats yet so effective, can't believe I never thought of it.

So far I have gotten car mats, a V2L adapter, Wireless Carplay adapter, protective film for the surfaces, a console storage tray, lights for the back seats, mud flaps, a dash cam, door protectors, a faraday box for my keys, valve caps, and last of all a granny cable. (quite a lot I know) Most useful probably dash cam, then wireless carplay, then storage tray. (quite a lot I know)

I've got to ask... what do people do in their cars that the light in the rear is such a big deal???

I didn't even notice there wasn't one, and couldn't tell you whether my last car/s had one. The one in the front is bright enough on the rare occasion I need it.

I've even read of people suggesting the new S5 is a worthwhile upgrade on the MG4, because it has a light in the rear....😀

The most useful for me are the short front seat buckle belt extenders, they allow you to drive the car without having to put your seatbelt on when manoeuvring the car up and down the drive, or in and out of the garage etc, it also allows you to put a bag of shopping on the passenger seat without the boing, boing, boing all the way home, but the main benefit is that it makes it so much easier to plug and unplug your seatbelt, without the extenders, the seat buckle is very low and quite difficult to access.

I have a pair of rechargeable magnetic LED puck lights. They came with self adhesive metal plates, so stuck them to the rear pillar, and the light just clips to the plate.

Try detaching the seatbelt harness and attaching a dog lead to a wriggling terrier, who just wants to jump out for a walk in the dark, much easier with some light on the subject.

Because the rear compartment is quite dark its handy to know what the dogs are up to when you take them out dogging. ( I might need to re-read that through , and thanks to Peter Kay. )

@Wizard of Oz, It's just a whole lot easier to find anything in the back, or use the space without fumbling in complete darkness. If you're only 2 up in the car then I tend to store coats for the journey, or shopping. I also used to use a small electric cool box behind the drivers seat and connecting that up in the dark was a real challenge.
