Most useful MG4 accessory?

Kwik Fit changed the rear tyres recently and put a massive crack in the OSR wheel trim trying to yank it off. Still waiting for them to say a new one is in stock ready to be fitted...

I thought I could use a tie down strap like they use on lorry's and feed behind to pull but they didn't have any of them. It looks like the 17" ones in the video are easier than the 18" ones to pull off.

I reckon the wheel trim in this video must have half a dozen of its clips broken.

I've just tried using interior pullers (now broken) and pulling rope through multiple spokes then yanking. They really don't want to budge. It makes me concerned about how to deal with this situation in future when getting punctures as the amount of force required is on another level +100 compared to wheel trims of ye'olde.

17" ones aren't too difficult. Hands into both sides of each "spoke" near to the rim, and tug. You might have to work your way around the wheel to loosen it completely.

Once you've done one, you can see where the clips are for the next one/s.

If you mean the front MG badge, they will be plastic covers, they fit very well > MG4 Badge.

This was so easy and didn’t require much effort. Even up close looks good.

What LEDs did you buy?

Do note, that those open wheels will kill a lot of range. Not a very good thing when the car already has pretty small battery.

Yes, I already considered the range loss when I bought the rims. However, since we have too much power in summer anyway, I didn't care about it at all . (10 kWp PV system and 33 kWh battery storage in the basement)

The LEDs are from Aliexpress.

9 months old and already littered with scratches (wife's nails and keys?).

Came out great and makes the car feel much more premium for such a small, cheap mod.
