MOT during warranty period.

hi everyone,

My MG5's MOT is coming up soon, and since the car is still covered by warranty and i don't want to void it, i was wondering if i can take it to have it done anywhere, or is it have to be a dealer? Thanks!

I'm not 100% sure on this but,as the MOT has nothing to do with the service history or warranty, I should imagine you could chose anyone you wish

I tend to favour using an independent MOT station ,myself, prior to the service date at the dealership.
Not every dealer has an MOT licence anyway, they just pass the work over to a third party station anyway.

I'm definately getting mine MOT'd at my Grandson's garage, he does it for me free.
