exactly, that's why I always keep my cars for at least 5 years. Divide the price paid by at least 5 and then subtract the residual and always comes out at a very reasonable price for that length of motoring in a car from new. Same with my motorbikes, always buy new because there are so many bodge merchants out there reflashing ECUs, messing around with suspension internals, installing illegal pipes, illegally removing emissions systems, running in new bikes 'like they stole it' and then never, ever mentioning any of this when selling, simply bolting back on all of the original equipment and selling them as 'factory standard', same as cars and now even more so with the bodges made by software installed from dodgy usb sticks and a whole array of more than likely illegal sharing of manufacturers ip.

Fully agree now, I am sad to say. I think it is the end of the road for me. I have more important priorities to spend energy on than hassles maintaining my car.

It is a real shame as you are obviously pretty invested in the car/brand, so much so you do the podcast but you have certainly had a few niggles!

As I've said previously it's not the faults any car can have them, it's how they are dealt with that brings customers back and MG UK are poor.
Dealers can try and be supportive (and there are a good few) but they are hamstrung by MG UK. I have had a service manager tell me how frustrating it is.

The problem is compounded by MG UK when you contact them just give you stock answers and tell you to contact dealers.

At the end of the day bushes shouldn't be failing on a lowish mileage 3 year old car people can say what they like I have never experienced it on any car.
The fact that they have, they should be replaced, no questions asked.
