Could anyone tell me if its possible to change mph to kph on the display on the HS?

It's mandatory, so should be settings for it. Otherwise you'd not be allowed to drive in countries using the other units.

Sadly, the manual doesn't provide any help!

Go to settings and look for 'units' or 'regional settings' or similar. I don't have that model so got no idea how the infotainment looks like, but that's the most logical.

I did this last summer but I've had to go and play with the car to remember how I did it
With the car turned on, swipe the home screen to the left, then bottom left on all the icons tap on Settings. This should open with the General tab on the right hand side highlighted.
Now scroll to the bottom of the page and you will find the km/mile tabs.
I'm still on version R55 of the infotainment system software, but yours should be similar.
