If the MG4 is anything to go by MG doesn't seem to update the maps very often if at all. You'll probably be better using Google maps via Android Auto or Apple Car Play
..or I have found Waze to be a little better at route-finding inside the M25, and the interface is less annoying once you get rid of all the silly baby icons, and the pop-ups.

If youre on Android i would recommend using ABRP (A better route planner) with Premium as this will hook up to the car and get the SoC which means it can properly plan your trips with charging stops just like the onboard nav can.
Requires some setup, but its not too hard.
