Yes, some have a STOP button, but many don't, others have a tap to start charging/ tap to stop charging mentality. One I used the other day in Morrisons was a burger to use.
Mrs S said it was French, which said it all. First of all, the screen was an absolute cochon (see what did there?) to read in bright light. Then we had to choose a payment option, Charge Card, Credit Card, app or Giroe. Whatever that is???
Tried the Electroverse card using the first two options. Car said it was ready to receive (Oooh, Matron!), and the charger looked hopeful, but when I looked at it again, it was asking for payment again....
So eventually after much swearing and argument, the "correct" combination of Credit Card and one of our debit cards got the thing dispensing electrons.
According to the charger's website, we could "tap out" to stop charging, but this didn't work, so we used the bouton (I've done it again) on the car's screen to stop charging.
Met someone local inside the supermarket who told me they never pick a payment option, they just "tap in" with their card. But we were trying that like lemons with 4 different cards and the bleeding thing wasn't having it!
Just remembered the name on the front: MFG.
