Any idea on the legality of these new lamps? Pricey but potentially good on the roads I drive.

Completely illegal on the roads... But plenty of people installing similar LEDs anyway, including myself.

It's a company car so I had better not swap for these.

I suppose they tend to be the more blinding ones, if they aren't designed for the car.

just a suggestion, consider 100w rally type HB3 bulbs, much brighter than standard, much cheaper than LEDs, much easier to fit!. not road legal, but no one seems to notice, i.e. MOT, Old Bill, Other drivers {if not adjusted too high}
