Next Car?

True, and so do I - but the question was about how to increase mpkWh .. ACC is not very efficient in the MG4 :)
Is the ACC worse than not using it? Is this just for the MG4?

The perceived advice is try to maintain a constant speed.

My Lexus App scores my EV driving performance on three categories:-

1) Acceleration - 86/100

2) Braking - 89/100

3) Constant Speed - 70/100

My relatively low score on Constant Speed can be put down to the amount of urban driving I do.
Congestion on motorways will also have an impact.

Really surprised the ACC on the MG4 is not efficient.

And that's what it is not very good at ... it'll maintain your target speed, or the speed of the vehicle in front (if slower). But between those points it is harsh on the accelerator and harsh on the regen/brakes - it doesn't "look ahead" very well, it is almost a binary system. (Maybe the new MG4 will be better, as it apparently uses cameras for everything and no longer uses a distance radar [which will have a limited range]).

Indeed, one might hope the new MG4 will be rather better in this regard.

BUT, if one takes behaviour of the S5 in this area as a "guide" to how any new MG works, the omens are not good.

Everything that @siteguru lists for his "older" MG4 also applies to the "new" S5, and it has cameras and no radar. I wonder how the S6 is in this regard?

That is interesting as the Lexus has cameras.
A rapid accelerations speed would affect the efficiency.
My MG5 is not radar controlled but just a basic cruise control.

I've tried today on our Trophy MG4 how I can pull up the average m/ kWh, but I haven't been successful yet.

It would be really useful to find out what it is.
