My 1 year old MG4 SE long range does not charge with the 7kW Pod Point charger but does it with the Granny 2.3kW !!
I have tried all suggestions and different options but doesn't want to know.

What lights are on the PP, and does it work on other 7kW EVSE?

Hi it did charge ok at a public charger.
Most interesting thing I noticed is when I try to charge at home it says. Discharge Connector Detected !!

It looks as if the car is seeing the Type 1 to type 2 adapter as a V2L adapter.
If this is the case (as it seems to be), is the charger active or off when plugging it into the car?
It might be possible to overcome the problem by ensuring the charger is active and ready to charge before plugging in.
If not maybe the adapter was made at a time when V2L didn’t exist but a new adapter might work instead

Thanks
That sounds about right.
I bought it 3 years ago about when V2L came out
